The stories behind the playlist 'Remember The Time'

Heylo everyone! Long time no post.Yeah. I was spending the time creating the new playlist and making the songs in order. I hope you like it so my efforts won't be wasted. The songs are all so awesome! The playlist represents our lives, the Past, Present and Future. Wow, I am even impressed by the playlist myself.  It has a number significant stories. Well, everyone may think differently, my version of story is not equivalent to others. The main idea of me creating this playlist that you, my friends, will always be a part of me. I will always be your friend indefinitely. Also, we will climb and reach our goals which has no boundaries. Treasure your time that will immediately go down to history once that second has passed. We will help each other when in need and be there. We will forgive each other. We will not feel lonely or alone. Dream big, try to achieve your goals, and when you feel you are falling,losing, just believe that you will not fall. There can be miracles when you believe. Dream big and you can achieve it. When you are losing, believe and you may be winning. It sad that we will not be together again. Our primary school life gone too soon. Remember, you got a friend. We will be friends forever, for all time. Just a few words of advice, when you have a friend, keep the faith. It is easier telling the truth. We can achieve what we want , ain't no mountain high enough. When you go sec school, you have no friends, make that CHANGE, break the ice and you might be friends instantaneously.

Today, school term ends and holiday for the rest of the year. Today, I have come to an end of my journey in Tao Nan. Today, I will walk out the doors of Tao Nan guiding me, go to a new school, a new path awaits me, it was planned on how much you want to walk that path.

Today is our P6 Graduation Day. Congratulation to Keane and Su Chen for being 1st and 2nd in class respectively. Well, I came to school a little late. There was a little confusion, 6I has onlly one row, never mind, the problem was later resolved. Surprisingly, everybody arrived at 7.25a.m. , including the guests. We were way ahead of schedule. So, they played the screened the 103rd School Anniversary Video. They played it three times! Everyone all got so restless watching it all over again. Upon hearing friends comments on blog or what-so-ever, you said that the Guest-of-Honour came late, it is not true, they screened early as everyone was already present! Actually, they started playing the video since 7.30a.m.! The GOH came on time. Also, they screened the P6 Project, fond memories, ours was the funniest, with Mr Kwek like a DeeJay and Mr Tey,戴老师, famous word "烂'! Then there were 3 speeches. One of them did not have a script, but a small paper to know what to talk about, unfortunately, he kept stammering. Last year's PSLE top scholars from Tao Nan were there, they all got 271 and above. The speech by our model pupil (Teng Wen Li) seemed quite short, dunno why, it was not as boring as yesterday's one.

Well, we sang the Graduation Song in a humorous way. We emphasize the last character of each line, or rather, only sang. The most obvious one was the last word "pao" or “跑", haha, very funny, all of us laughed. Today, when we sang the school song, it felt that it was the best singing I have ever done so far. It reminds me when I was in Lower Primary. After the ceremony, I almost couldn't find Miss Ong without some help, need to give her something. I don't know why I sang the song "Billie Jean", testing my vocals I think. Ben Aw and I also ate canteen food besides the refreshment. The canteen aunty thanked us for giving business. Luckily, I didn't take the drinks, it was coffee. I know most of them accidentally took it. HAHA. After spending $3.10 in school, I went to the National Library to wait for my mother.

Last two days before we might not see each other for a long time. I will miss all my friends. I dreaded this day to come. Remember, you always be a part of me. Friendship is not easily broken with me. God Bless you all when you 'upgrade' yourself. Amen.

Sorry for this late post. Anyways, nothing much happened that day. That day was Mr Tan's Farewell Ceremony, he will officially leave Tao Nan on th 16th of December, 2009. Mr Tan got to sit on a Golden Throne! It looked like it was made in Thailand. He looked so touched, great man! It was only an half an hour show, I thought it would be an hour. There was an wushu performance and a history of Mr Tan's reign in Tao Nan.Vanessa said in her blog that she 'HAH" at the wrong time.That explains why her lack of pace and loss of memory. LOLS. Well, our school choir (I suppose) sang the song "祝福" or in other other words "Blessing". Our choir wasn't that good to be frank.
After the farewell ceremony, we had a P6 Graduation Ceremony, it was super boring. It was actually a near waste of time. It lasted for more than an hour, sitting cross-legged on the floor, my legs got so cram, so relieved! The speech by our model pupil seemed to take forever. We had our recess half an hour late. I bought $2 mee pork, my most expensive meal in Tao Nan. It tasted the best, gave crabsticks too! :) After that, helped Brandon buy UNO, got 30 cents commission. Then played my last game of Monopoly in at the end of my journey in Tao Nan. I was broke, luckily Vanessa let me off from paying 6 million. Thanks, so kind, don't need to mortgage.Played till school ended.

{BONUS}
After school, there was a 5I'08 reunion at Chii En's house. Well, I went to the library, don't want to chase after the boys, needn't disrupt my plans to borrow books. Dunno who called me a nerd. Well, I was borrowing mystery storybook. Well, most girls went to the library, saw them coming, but they didn't find me, hiding. Perhaps one of them saw me. Anyway, at Chii En's house, the party was held at the BBQ pit. Most of the boys jumped into the swimming pool, got wet, haha. Benjamin got wet as he was trying to cross the small pool by jumping and ended up falling into the water after he didn't reach the other end. Haha, so funny. Luckily, he brought extra clothes. I played with Zheng Wei chess and I won! I played "stress" with Zheng Wei and I also won, but drawed the following match. We then went to Chii En's house and played Taiti, whoo-hoo, I won 1 match, haven't played since last December. Then the boys ran around the whole place as they did not want to sign an autograph. I have signed 2 for Mr Tan and 1 for Miss Kaur and of course, friends. The girls kept chasing the boys who haven't signed, I played for fun. Quite funny finding all the boys. It was a wild goose chase, eventually, the girls stopped chasing, I think Miss Ong ask them to stop. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience.                                                                                    I will remember you (my friends) forever...

Urm, hello! Yeah... Today was another thrilling day. Just this morning, I finally realised that clapping your hands makes your hand cool, funny is it, friction that cools? Wow. Anyway, I am proud to say that 6I won the best discipline class award, too bad it can only retain its position for 3 days. Putting that aside, well, there was an inter-class basketball tournament today. The girls team from 6I lost the championship title, while for the boys, it was the exact opposite. We won!!!! On podium, victory is ours! We are the champions, 6I. Hee hee. We then went back to class.

In the class, there was no teacher around to supervise us. Mrs Tan probably didn't come and no relief teacher was assigned to our class. So we dominated the class! We are the rulers, 6I... Well, we watched Michael Jackson  concert in class, thrilling. Marc kept wanting to play Billie Jean, didn't want to play Jam, probably he didn't know that song. Anyway, after recess, Mr Kwek came in into class. I think he sang the song "Ben", haha. Anyway, I played Monopoly after they didn't want to watch anymore. Brandon was so pro, but I was wining at first, he is so lucky, thats why he always win. I hope to play it tomorrow, remember the last few games before I leave Tao Nan.

Moving on, there will be a 5I'08 reunion party tomorrow. I can't wait, I hope it would be good. I will be bringing back-ups-UNO cards, check, Chess set, check, blocks, maybe not, poker cards, check. Wait, and my last hope, my handphone to listen to music,yeah. It would be held at Chi En's house, wonder whether it is at the Barbeque Pit, question mark. Tomorrow should be another great day, well, going library to borrow books before going to Chi En's house. The big question lies ahead, how to get in? Ask around I must. That all folks!

Green Day everybody! I mean Great Day! Oh sorry... Mo Mo Monday it is! All I wanna say is that today rocks! Firstly, I borrowed the book I wanted from the library and I read it this morning, it was sooooo exciting, mysteries stories. Back at class, I was invited to a game of Monopoly, but I rejected it. As usual, Ben Aw went to play, but I have reasons not to play. Here is why, I knew that the class would want to watch Indiana Jones, so not much people would be in the mood to play. As I predicted, they stopped the game and had to restart it. The theme song reminds me of We Are The World-From USA for Africa. Anyway the movie was very funny, it bring back memories when I watched it with my cousin. Mayan, speak Mayan, Mayan calendar, its so famous. The calendar will end on 21st December 2012, the end of its fifth cycle, each cycle consisting of 20,150 years I think.

Going on, after the movie, Brandon and a few other girls were at the back playing "Tai Di" with poker cards! Wow! No, its banned in school! Who cares, after all, its the last week! Lucky for them, they didn't invite me as I might be "King", I know how to win. I even won someone more experienced than me, my BB officer, he thought me. I think I won the game on my third match, I lost the first match, I was last. Oh no! I learnt the game fast, won, yeah. Yeah, that's one of the reasons I call myself Dark Horse. Well, Brandon was losing, he doesn't have any "Di" or "2", good luck, that is half the battle lost. We also had a class party, photo chips, my gosh, cheese flavour, I hate it and I didn't eat.
After recess, we had an English test on the computer, the future examinations. Nothing much there. We then went for assembly, it was an opera about Journey to the West. I wonder if they are dancing or fighting, I think both. Then Ronald MacDonald came to save the show, it was about road safety. He also sang a song it goes something like this: Look right look left and right again(X2). Raise your hand before you cross the road. He asked us to be smart, what it can mean is raise your hand, put it down and cross the road. I wouldn't be surprised stops by you. Well it was interesting compared to the opera, but the topic isn't really fit for P6s, maybe P3 and below is suitable. The song was still the best, I was clapping to the rhythm and Su Chen was saying, "Are you mad?" Maybe I was, but it was fun, nice try MacDonald. Overall, too bad no slicing off heads but the performance still deserve a thumbs up. Sword and neck spinning of poles, whoo-hoo!

2 Day's events

Well, today was another exciting day. Thr first thing, Mrs Tan did not come today, dunno whether good or bad. Anyway, a relief teacher came in, she brought  board games for us to play. Monopoly, LIFE and a few other games. I was playing Monopoly and I was the banker, I got confused somehow and gave each player the wrong sum of money, but they didn't mind, or rather I didn't tell them. Oophs! Of course, a few girls came around asking us what are we bringing for class party, they appointed me to bring the cups.Then, the game resumed, I got tired of it after a while, I read Angels and Demons Ding Young had borrowed from the library. I then went to play "stress", "snap" and "tai di"(hope I spelled correctly) with Benjamin Lee. We used an unattended deck of UNO cards on the table, probably Wan Qing's or Su Chen's cards, cause I have already lent my UNO cards.After that, the class went for recess.
After recess, I missed the game of Monopoly again. Never mind anyway, I continued reading Angels and Demons and played with my block puzzle. Then the class began so noisy again, partly because of the class party "controversy". Resume or not, Deal OR No Deal, haha.This nice quote" If you don't bring, you don't eat!" by Vanessa Goh, DEAL! What for class party? I predict it will be boring, unless there is an eating competition. Still No Deal, save the Earth, bring disposables, NO NO! By the way, not every might be so rich to bring food just enough for the class. The girls kept erasing "YES" or "NO" for the class party to resume, got so fed up that I used my marker to put my register number under the "prominent" 'NO'. Yeah, I clinched pole position on the list, lols. Please do not waste so much marker ink in future. Well, later I played another game called the 'Prediction'. I predict what the number or the pattern will roughly be on the Monopoly dice thrown by the player. Double, big or small number? Yes I can, by luck.
When Mrs Low came into class, I played Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on the for everyone to see. Of course, most girls are interested in playing "stress", the movie was funny though. Gonna resume it on Monday, I will also be bringing my Michael Jackson's 'Moonwalker' to school, wonder who will be interested.
HIStory was made more when I saw a half-torn, finally beaten, disfigured, in bad shape, crumpled UNO draw two power card on Su Chen's table. It was the first time I had seen an UNO card being so torn and tattered. No reason it shoudn't be recorded. God bless it.
2012 has become a hot topic now, gonna have that topic soon. End of the Mayan calendar, the word 'Mayan' was also mentioned in Indiana Jones!  Lets hope it will not be the end of the world.

Thursday, 12 November- Underwater World fieldtrip

Today, class 6I went to the Underwater World for an educational lesson. It was very fun.We reached the place very early, we waited about 45 minutes to an hour I think for the sea lion performance. ( We reached there early so we could get the best seats, anyway Mr Kwek said that he hoped it was the best seats.). There were a lot of people taking photographs of us, since they took me, I also snapped them. That is what Benjamin Aw and I called "Snipe Mission" It was super fun and some of you might call it "LAME", but I tell you, I enjoyed it, I will post some pictures if I have the time. I also played 'stress' with Benjamin Lee, as usual, I lost, but I know I did my best. Speking about the sea lions, they put up a spectualar performance! Very talented they are. They have very strong flippers and can lift themselves up. They also did break-dancing, ball-balancing, clapping and some more tricks. When the performance was over, we took a photograph with Sharkie. Chian Hao stepped onto its tail, and the shark used his flippers to shoo him away,haha.
We then went to the dolphin lagoon, not much has changed I can say. Nevertheless, it still leave memories. Pink dolphins, last saw them about a year ago went I visited Sentosa. The dolphins were "sonic" fast, I didn't manage to catch the picture I wanted but never mind. The show lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, when the show ended, we went back to the Underwater World. Little had changed though, one of the attraction was the sea angels, beautiful creatures they are. I remember when I was at Hokkiado during the PSLE marking days, there were sea angels on display in front some stalls. I never thought that stalls would show these things. The 3D image of the Great White Shark was so boring, so bad they took away the shark. The "tram" ride was fun nevertheless, I never got sick and tired of it. Brandon and I were chasing the sting ray, hoping to get a good picture of it. Then we went fish feeding, Ben Aw didn't dare to let the fish touch him and simply threw the food into the water( not sting ray), so I helped him and alll the fishes immediately swam after the food. it touched me and it was ticklish. Anyway, I also touched the sting ray, it was very slimy. Of course, we realised we were late. However, I still managed to buy green tea before boarding the bus.Oh, bubble tea, make bubbles in your tea hee hee.
On the bus, the boys behind are so sick, kept saying 'Oh!' or whatever when they approached a hump. Luckily, I didn't sit next to them on the way back to school. I listened to Michael Jackson on the bus to  beat the boredom on my handphone. I had a problem choosing the songs, so many genres and all are nice songs. Luckily, Mr Kwek didn't catch me cause I disguised it, pheew! Oh yeah, I also listened to Mad World ny Adam Lambert caused Ben Aw kept talking about 2012, so I let him listen too. Speaking about music, there were songs from Air Supply and other artistes they played at the sea lion show, yup, only Heaven knows what will happen in 2012. There will be P.E. tomorrow, wonder what will we do. Well, I hoped you like this post, lengthy though.Enjoy!

Wow, another day is gone. I had such a fun time at Marina Barrage today! The scenery was fabulous, not counting the fact it was a bit hazy, or was it cloudy? It was sunny though. We reached there quite early. We ate our "recess". Keane and Zac got wet when they started spraying water into the "pond". We thought it was for us to sit down in an area surrounded by water. All of a sudden, jets of water came shooting out and landed directly on them! They were drenched, Keane could also be seen "suntaning". They was also a spray not far from there where you can also see a rainbow! We also went to the grass patch where we saw people flying kites. Our shoes got dirty. I did the Michael Jackson turning around move to get rid of the dirt (Ha ha, quite handy sometimes!). Then, we went down to the ground floor and played  "Ice and Water". The girls will catch the boys. Most of the girls did not catch me although they could have the chance. Not until Vanessa Goh chased after me when I was trapped because I went the wrong way, right into the girls gathering! I was freed of course. I don't think most people know I was playing. There was a time I freed Chian Hao from under Cheryl and Victoria(was it?) noses. I crept up to them behind the pillar,wow. I had a fun time on the bus with classmates shouting "tree!!!!!!!!!!" Yup, I also played "stress", I hope to get into my competitive form by Friday. Fieldtrip tomorrow to Underwater World, wonder what surprises may come. I hope to have a fun time there, can't wait. I hope I can change the blog skin for this blog, anyone can help? This IS It, my first independant blog I have. This is the moment, this is it.
